Day 22

Today: +$529
To date: +$5706
To go: $94294
Bankroll: $6706

1365 hands *** 2.7 hours *** 9.7 PTbb/100 *** 19.0/14.2 *** MT: 5.7

Good start for my first day at $200NL. This game is decidedly more aggressive than $100NL. A lot of raising and reraising preflop - which you just don't see at the lower limits. It seems that there are a lot more LAG players, and as a result no one ever gives you credit for a hand. I would have liked to be more aggressive than 14.2% - but often my button hands that I would want to raise were facing a limp and a raise in front of me. Maybe tomorrow I can get closer to 15-16% preflop raise. Maybe I won't need to - maybe people will keep overplaying their hands and donating. We'll see.

great blog so far...love the idea. I'd love to see some specific/interesting hands that came up and have you include a little analysis. Also, does 6-tabling ever have an effect on your reads/play? Congrats on the success so far, even though I hate you for getting choosen by GP! jk!

Hey Jason, thanks. I really appreciate the support. I'll put up some interesting hands next chance I get. As far as multi-tabling, I think I could be more profitable per table if I were playing less tables. IE, I might make 12bb/100 at 2 tables, or I could make 9bb/100 at 6 tables. Obv 54>24. So I'm willing to give up some hands that I might win if I were focused on that table, because I'm making a lot more $$ by adding the other tables. My play is so ABC right now, and multi-tabling keeps me from getting too cute when it's likely my opponents can't fold a marginal hand. We'll see how I have to adjust at the higher stakes.
